First thing I made for New Years.
I decided to bake cupcakes to ring in the New Year. Champagne cupcakes seemed fitting. I forget how long it takes to make cupcakes from scratch, and icing, and spun sugar. I have never made spun sugar before but I was excited. I ended up burning it a little because I didn’t have a candy thermometer. I was still able to spin in and make it a beautiful cupcake topper.
